Did you say xr250? Is that it, just xr250? Do you mean the off road dirt bike that Honda makes? or the 26"Monsgoose bicycle? or the moving overhead projector? or the light bulb? or floor speakers? Are you kidding? The xr250 can mean one thing and one thing only. We are talking about Honda's two cycle dirt bike they named the xr250. The only thing you are going to have on this baby is fun, fun, and more fun.
Any dirt bike enthusiast will tell you that there is nothing, and we do mean nothing, like climbing aboard a two wheeler and turning the revs up and over 3000 rpm. The thrill you get is something that can only be compared to jumping out of a plane hurdling through the air. The Honda xr250 dirt bike is something to behold, and that is only the beginning of a love affair. The xr250 can keep up with any dirt bike on the track, and passes even larger bikes with ease.
The xr250 has the name Honda stamped all over the frame, but for any dirt biker, you can tell right off the bat that this has the sleek lines that Honda is known for in its' dirk bike design. The front forks look monstrous giving you the idea that it can take anything the road will have to offer. We have to interject something here, the xr250 is a dirt bike, however, it is just as comfortable on the tarmac.
I was very impressed with the comfortable seat and the placement of the foot pegs. The gas tank is located at a perfect slant, making it very easy to mount the bike. Since most dirt bikers will spend hours on the track being comfortable is a must, since you will be bounced around for most of those hours. Have no fear, the xr250 will cradle you all the way.
As mentioned before, the xr250 is comfortable on a dirt track or on the open road. But, you are not going to want to just take this beauty on the dirt. Why, you may ask? Hey that is an easy one, it is so cool looking that you are going to want to climb aboard and show it off.
So far we've talked about the xr250's looks and comfort, but we should add here that it is your usual reliable, high performance Honda bike. Honda is known for making some of the best dirt and road bikes in the business and the xr250 is no exception. The minute you kick start this baby you can hear the screaming motor and the familiar sound of a Honda dirt bike.
If we had another 500 words, we could tell you about the available colors, the cool looking lights and how they are mounted, the braking system, the handle bars, the grips, and a myriad of other things, but alas we don't. That said, remember xr250 means a mean looking dirt bike made by Honda!
